Kids and Self-Healing

I learn so much from my children. They are my greatest teachers.

When we raise our kids with certain ideas and beliefs, our hope is for them to understand what we have come to know.

And yet, the reality is that magic happens when they take the foundation of knowledge and build on it, getting creative, playing with ideas, stepping outside the box to see what happens.

And then the tables turn and the kids teach us...if we are open to learning from them!

We recently visited Rome as a family, viewing the amazing historical sites. With his permission, I share the experience of Mark, age 13.

In the middle of a 3-hour tour of the Vatican, Mark started to feel ill.  He was queasy and lightheaded, wanted to sit down, and needed support to stand and walk.

The Sistine Chapel, a coveted pinnacle of our trip, provided the first opportunity for him to sit.  Surrounded by masterpieces, Mark was seated, prostrate, looking at the floor, trying not to throw up.

...Looking at the floor instead of the Sistine ceiling! It nearly broke my heart!

I did a little bit of Qigong on him, but must admit it was half-hearted; I wanted to spend this short time enjoying the Sistine Chapel!

We walked him outside and gave him water and food, to no avail. After 1+ hour of being queasy, it was clear that he would be sick for the rest of the day.

The family was eager to see the rest of the tour, so we led Mark into St Peter's Basilica where the Pope gives blessings, passed the stunning Pieta of Michaelangelo, and seated him in a pew of a chapel. We continued our tour, checking on Mark periodically.

After 20 minutes in the pew, Mark looked like a new man. He was sitting up, alert, conversational, and smiling!

"Mom, I did some energy work on myself. Some of the stuff you do.

I grounded into the earth and asked what doesn't belong to be released from my body.

Then I connected up into the Universe and asked that healing light flow through me.

Immediately I felt a tingly sensation ripple through me from my head to my feet. The vibration moved layer by layer through my body.

Then I felt better. It worked!"

I was in awe. How did he come up with this and execute the process?

Mark proceeded to enjoy St Peter's Basilica, walk 4 miles to the Colosseum and back, and spend the rest of the day completely renewed. It was an amazing recovery.

I learned so much from this miracle improvement.

- Rather than looking externally for someone to heal us, there is a profound power in self-healing. Setting your intention to step into health and asking the universe to support you is more potent than anyone else's intention.

- Anyone can access healing powers! You don't need hours of training and studying. Simply combine your desire to heal, openness to your intuition, and the willingness to put it into action.

- The results of healing can be instantaneous and profound. We don't have to stay sick and let it ruin our day.

- Kids aren't afraid to try something new and take it to the next level. We can learn so much from them!

It was an honor to bear witness to his healing, and I can't wait to see what is to come!

Congratulations Mark for Living Your Light!
