Ann Bruinsma is a wife and mother of three, living in Louisville, Colorado. Raised in a family of medical professionals, she has always been interested in health and well-being.
Ann has dedicated the last 15 years to healing her own ailments and those of her children through natural medicine. Her endless pursuit of health has introduced her to many modalities, and ultimately helped her family to balance and heal from the effects of Lyme disease, ADHD, parasites, and other illnesses in natural ways.
After years of studying several modalities, Ann is thrilled to share this healing journey with others.
In her prior schooling and career, Ann graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a double major in Economics and Math. She was a financial and business operations analyst for more than a decade and now applies analytical skills to define and quantify the impacts of holistic medicine. Ann enjoys sharing these life-changing techniques with others in supportive ways.
Ann’s Story
In the medical community, Ann was always considered healthy. She was a competitive athlete in soccer, rowing, and running, and high-achieving academically. She rarely was sick and had strong blood work results. Ann worked in corporate business as an analyst for more than a decade, excelling in a high-stress environment.
However, Ann always knew that something was not right in her body. She often experienced infections and physical discomfort. At age 19, Ann had arthritis forming in her hands and wrists. By 21, she had chronic neck pain and was seeing a physical therapist and chiropractor. By age 25, lower back pain developed that affected her ability to participate in sports. Temporomandibular joint pain (TMJ), dental issues, postpartum depression, urinary tract infections, and food intolerances developed. By age 30, Ann was fearful of the rapid decline of her health and lack of improvement from western medicine.
Ann turned to alternative medicine and dedicated the last 15 years to trying different modalities to heal her body. A Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) diet eliminated the arthritis, and gluten-free eating cleared up her insomnia. Homeopathy lifted the postpartum depression and urinary tract infections, while shifting her mental/emotional perceptions. Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) and Core Synchronism relieved body pain, discomfort, and trauma symptoms. The Klinghardt method diagnosed chronic Lyme disease, which lay at the core of her symptoms since childhood. Klinghardt and the associated herbal tinctures treated Lyme, parasites, viruses, and heavy metals to heal more deeply. Biophoton therapy aided in healing the damage done by the toxins and pathogens. Qigong and Intuitive healing lifted mental/emotional patterns and energetic obstructions that were not serving her highest good.
All of these alternative therapies lifted layers of imbalance, shifting Ann's life path from that of worsening health to one of stabilized health, and finally to a state of well-being. Saying goodbye to the daily Fight or Flight stress reactions brought about a profound change, giving space for growth, renewal, and manifesting her dreams.
Ann is grateful for this healing journey and the peace it has brought to her life and the lives of her family members. She is honored to help others live their best lives through balancing and restoring their bodies and energy.
